She has been teaching Italian to foreigners since 1997.

Since 2002 she is the Academic Director of the Italian Department of the University of Minnesota, working also as a teacher of the Italian Language and Culture. She also teaches at the Monash University (Prato), one of the most prestigious Australian universities.
